{"id":10173,"date":"2026-10-18T10:30:00","date_gmt":"2026-10-18T07:30:00","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/dpc.or.tz\/?post_type=ctc_sermon&#038;p=10173"},"modified":"2026-11-03T12:55:48","modified_gmt":"2026-11-03T09:55:48","slug":"you-are-a-steward-of-gods-mysteries","status":"publish","type":"ctc_sermon","link":"https:\/\/dpc.or.tz\/?ctc_sermon=you-are-a-steward-of-gods-mysteries","title":{"rendered":"YOU ARE A STEWARD OF GOD\u2019S MYSTERIES"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">YOU ARE A STEWARD OF GOD\u2019S MYSTERIES<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">1Corinthians 4:1 \u2013 2; Romans 14:12&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Key Words:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong><em>A servant<\/em><\/strong>\u00a0\u2013 Gk.\u00a0<em>hyperetes<\/em>\u00a0meaning attendant &#8211; a person serving under the authority and direction of his\/her master.\u00a0<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong><em>Steward<\/em><\/strong>\u00a0&#8211; comes from\u00a0<strong>Gk<\/strong>\u00a0word\u00a0<strong><em>oikonomos<\/em><\/strong>\u00a0driven from \u201c<em>oiko\u201d<\/em>\u00a0household and \u201c<em>nomos\u201d\u00a0<\/em>to manage, rule or govern.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><a><strong><em>A steward\u00a0\u00a0<\/em><\/strong><\/a>&#8211; \u201coikonomos\u201d is a\u00a0household\u00a0manager, governor or administrator entrusted to manage daily operations on behalf of the owner.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong><em>Mystery \u2013\u00a0\u00a0Gk\u00a0<\/em><\/strong>word<strong><em>\u00a0Mysterion\u00a0<\/em><\/strong>\u2013 secret or something unknown, a hidden truth which is yet to be revealed.\u00a0<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<ol class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>RECOGNIZE WHAT GOD HAS ENTRUSTED TO YOU.<br>1Corinthians 4:1; Ephesians 3:7 \u2013 8; 1Peter 4:10\u00a0\u00a0<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Paul knew<\/strong>\u00a0<strong>clearly<\/strong>\u00a0that God had entrusted him with the Gospel of Jesus Christ, especially to the Gentiles.\u00a0<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>His assignment was to preach,\u00a0<u>especially to the Gentiles\u00a0<\/u><\/strong><br><strong>Ephesians 3:7 \u2013 8\u00a0<em><u><sup>7\u00a0<\/sup>I became a servant of this gospel<\/u>\u00a0<u>by the\u00a0gift of God\u2019s grace\u00a0given me<\/u>\u00a0through the working of his power.<\/em><\/strong><em><strong><sup>8\u00a0<\/sup><\/strong>Although I am less than the least of all the Lord\u2019s people, this grace was given me:\u00a0<\/em><strong><em><u>to preach to the Gentiles<\/u><\/em><\/strong><em>\u00a0the boundless riches of Christ,<\/em><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>You must understand your gifts.<br><br><br>2. BE FAITHFUL TO WHAT GOD HAS ENTRUSTED TO YOU.<br> 1Corinthians 4:2; Romans 12:6 \u2013 8<br>God expects faithfulness in whatever we have been given to manage.\u00a0<br><br><strong>Examples of faithful people in the Bible\u00a0<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<ol style=\"list-style-type:lower-roman\" class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Moses \u2013\u00a0<\/strong>entrusted with leadership and was faithful to the call Exodus 3:10 \u2013 12<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Joseph \u2013\u00a0<\/strong>Entrusted with administration and did it wisely Gen 41:39 \u2013 41\u00a0<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Ruth \u2013\u00a0<\/strong>entrusted with care for the poorer, did it wholeheartedly<strong>\u00a0<\/strong>Ruth 2:11 \u2013 17<strong>\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0<\/strong><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Paul \u2013\u00a0<\/strong>entrusted with gospel, did it faithfully to the cost of his life Acts 20:24<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">          3. YOU WILL GIVE AN ACCOUNT OF WHAT IS ENTRUSTED TO YOU.<br>              Romans 14: 12; Luke 12:47 \u2013 48; Matthew 25:21\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>We are responsible for how we use what God has entrusted to us.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>You will give an account for yourself.\u00a0<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>You will be accountable for your children.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>You will give and account of the gifts, talents, resources, time and position that God has entrusted to you.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>         Conclusion<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Let each one of us be faithful to what God has entrusted to you so that when we stand before our Master, Jesus Christ, we may hear \u201cWELL DON!
