{"id":191,"date":"2020-03-15T09:30:00","date_gmt":"2020-03-15T09:30:00","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.probewise.com\/demo\/wise-church\/?post_type=ctc_sermon&#038;p=191"},"modified":"2020-03-25T16:22:02","modified_gmt":"2020-03-25T16:22:02","slug":"thank-you-lord-for-hearing-me","status":"publish","type":"ctc_sermon","link":"https:\/\/dpc.or.tz\/?ctc_sermon=thank-you-lord-for-hearing-me","title":{"rendered":"THANK YOU, LORD, FOR HEARING ME"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong><a href=\"https:\/\/dpc.or.tz\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/09\/worship-fast.jpg\" data-rel=\"prettyPhoto[191]\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\" wp-image-5542 alignleft\" src=\"https:\/\/dpc.or.tz\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/09\/worship-fast.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"261\" height=\"184\" \/><\/a>THANK YOU, LORD, FOR HEARING ME<br \/>\nJOHN 11:1- 44<\/strong><\/p>\n<p class=\"chapter-2\"><span class=\"text John-11-1\"><span class=\"chapternum\">\u00a0<\/span>Now a certain <i>man<\/i> was sick, Lazarus of Bethany, the town of Mary and her sister Martha. <\/span><span id=\"en-NKJV-26526\" class=\"text John-11-2\"><sup class=\"versenum\">2\u00a0<\/sup>It was <i>that<\/i> Mary who anointed the Lord with fragrant oil and wiped His feet with her hair, whose brother Lazarus was sick. <\/span><span id=\"en-NKJV-26527\" class=\"text John-11-3\"><sup class=\"versenum\">3\u00a0<\/sup>Therefore the sisters sent to Him, saying, \u201cLord, behold, he whom You love is sick.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span id=\"en-NKJV-26528\" class=\"text John-11-4\"><sup class=\"versenum\">4\u00a0<\/sup>When Jesus heard <i>that,<\/i> He said, <span class=\"woj\">\u201cThis sickness is not unto death, but for the glory of God, that the Son of God may be glorified through it.\u201d\u00a0<\/span><\/span><span id=\"en-NKJV-26529\" class=\"text John-11-5\"><sup class=\"versenum\">5\u00a0<\/sup>Now Jesus loved Martha and her sister and Lazarus. <\/span><span id=\"en-NKJV-26530\" class=\"text John-11-6\"><sup class=\"versenum\">6\u00a0<\/sup>So, when He heard that he was sick, He stayed two more days in the place where He was. <\/span><span id=\"en-NKJV-26531\" class=\"text John-11-7\"><sup class=\"versenum\">7\u00a0<\/sup>Then after this He said to <i>the<\/i> disciples, <span class=\"woj\">\u201cLet us go to Judea again.\u201d\u00a0<\/span><\/span><span id=\"en-NKJV-26532\" class=\"text John-11-8\"><sup class=\"versenum\">8\u00a0<\/sup><i>The<\/i> disciples said to Him, \u201cRabbi, lately the Jews sought to stone You, and are You going there again?\u201d\u00a0<\/span><span id=\"en-NKJV-26533\" class=\"text John-11-9\"><sup class=\"versenum\">9\u00a0<\/sup>Jesus answered, <span class=\"woj\">\u201cAre there not twelve hours in the day?<\/span> <span class=\"woj\">If anyone walks in the day, he does not stumble, because he sees the<\/span> <span class=\"woj\">light of this world.<\/span> <\/span><span id=\"en-NKJV-26534\" class=\"text John-11-10\"><sup class=\"versenum\">10\u00a0<\/sup><span class=\"woj\">But<\/span> <span class=\"woj\">if one walks in the night, he stumbles, because the light is not in him.\u201d<\/span> <\/span><span id=\"en-NKJV-26535\" class=\"text John-11-11\"><sup class=\"versenum\">11\u00a0<\/sup>These things He said, and after that He said to them, <span class=\"woj\">\u201cOur friend Lazarus<\/span> <span class=\"woj\">sleeps, but I go that I may wake him up.\u201d\u00a0<\/span><\/span><span id=\"en-NKJV-26536\" class=\"text John-11-12\"><sup class=\"versenum\">12\u00a0<\/sup>Then His disciples said, \u201cLord, if he sleeps he will get well.\u201d <\/span><span id=\"en-NKJV-26537\" class=\"text John-11-13\"><sup class=\"versenum\">13\u00a0<\/sup>However, Jesus spoke of his death, but they thought that He was speaking about taking rest in sleep.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span id=\"en-NKJV-26538\" class=\"text John-11-14\"><sup class=\"versenum\">14\u00a0<\/sup>Then Jesus said to them plainly, <span class=\"woj\">\u201cLazarus is dead.<\/span> <\/span><span id=\"en-NKJV-26539\" class=\"text John-11-15\"><sup class=\"versenum\">15\u00a0<\/sup><span class=\"woj\">And I am glad for your sakes that I was not there, that you may believe. Nevertheless let us go to him.\u201d\u00a0<\/span><\/span><span id=\"en-NKJV-26540\" class=\"text John-11-16\"><sup class=\"versenum\">16\u00a0<\/sup>Then Thomas, who is called the Twin, said to his fellow disciples, \u201cLet us also go, that we may die with Him.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span class=\"text John-11-17\"><sup class=\"versenum\">17\u00a0<\/sup>So when Jesus came, He found that he had already been in the tomb four days. <\/span><span id=\"en-NKJV-26542\" class=\"text John-11-18\"><sup class=\"versenum\">18\u00a0<\/sup>Now Bethany was near Jerusalem, about two miles away. <\/span><span id=\"en-NKJV-26543\" class=\"text John-11-19\"><sup class=\"versenum\">19\u00a0<\/sup>And many of the Jews had joined the women around Martha and Mary, to comfort them concerning their brother.\u00a0<\/span><span id=\"en-NKJV-26544\" class=\"text John-11-20\"><sup class=\"versenum\">20\u00a0<\/sup>Then Martha, as soon as she heard that Jesus was coming, went and met Him, but Mary was sitting in the house. <\/span><span id=\"en-NKJV-26545\" class=\"text John-11-21\"><sup class=\"versenum\">21\u00a0<\/sup>Now Martha said to Jesus, \u201cLord, if You had been here, my brother would not have died. <\/span><span id=\"en-NKJV-26546\" class=\"text John-11-22\"><sup class=\"versenum\">22\u00a0<\/sup>But even now I know that whatever You ask of God, God will give You.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span id=\"en-NKJV-26547\" class=\"text John-11-23\"><sup class=\"versenum\">23\u00a0<\/sup>Jesus said to her, <span class=\"woj\">\u201cYour brother will rise again.\u201d\u00a0<\/span><\/span><span id=\"en-NKJV-26548\" class=\"text John-11-24\"><sup class=\"versenum\">24\u00a0<\/sup>Martha said to Him, \u201cI know that he will rise again in the resurrection at the last day.\u201d\u00a0<\/span><span id=\"en-NKJV-26549\" class=\"text John-11-25\"><sup class=\"versenum\">25\u00a0<\/sup>Jesus said to her, <span class=\"woj\">\u201cI am<\/span> <span class=\"woj\">the resurrection and the life.<\/span> <span class=\"woj\">He who believes in Me, though he may<\/span> <span class=\"woj\">die, he shall live.<\/span> <\/span><span id=\"en-NKJV-26550\" class=\"text John-11-26\"><sup class=\"versenum\">26\u00a0<\/sup><span class=\"woj\">And whoever lives and believes in Me shall never die. Do you believe this?\u201d\u00a0<\/span><\/span><span id=\"en-NKJV-26551\" class=\"text John-11-27\"><sup class=\"versenum\">27\u00a0<\/sup>She said to Him, \u201cYes, Lord, I believe that You are the Christ, the Son of God, who is to come into the world.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span class=\"text John-11-28\"><sup class=\"versenum\">28\u00a0<\/sup>And when she had said these things, she went her way and secretly called Mary her sister, saying, \u201cThe Teacher has come and is calling for you.\u201d <\/span><span id=\"en-NKJV-26553\" class=\"text John-11-29\"><sup class=\"versenum\">29\u00a0<\/sup>As soon as she heard <i>that,<\/i> she arose quickly and came to Him. <\/span><span id=\"en-NKJV-26554\" class=\"text John-11-30\"><sup class=\"versenum\">30\u00a0<\/sup>Now Jesus had not yet come into the town, but was in the place where Martha met Him. <\/span><span id=\"en-NKJV-26555\" class=\"text John-11-31\"><sup class=\"versenum\">31\u00a0<\/sup>Then the Jews who were with her in the house, and comforting her, when they saw that Mary rose up quickly and went out, followed her, saying, \u201cShe is going to the tomb to weep there.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span id=\"en-NKJV-26556\" class=\"text John-11-32\"><sup class=\"versenum\">32\u00a0<\/sup>Then, when Mary came where Jesus was, and saw Him, she fell down at His feet, saying to Him, \u201cLord, if You had been here, my brother would not have died.\u201d\u00a0<\/span><span id=\"en-NKJV-26557\" class=\"text John-11-33\"><sup class=\"versenum\">33\u00a0<\/sup>Therefore, when Jesus saw her weeping, and the Jews who came with her weeping, He groaned in the spirit and was troubled. <\/span><span id=\"en-NKJV-26558\" class=\"text John-11-34\"><sup class=\"versenum\">34\u00a0<\/sup>And He said, <span class=\"woj\">\u201cWhere have you laid him?\u201d\u00a0<\/span><\/span><span class=\"text John-11-34\">They said to Him, \u201cLord, come and see.\u201d\u00a0<\/span><span id=\"en-NKJV-26559\" class=\"text John-11-35\"><sup class=\"versenum\">35\u00a0<\/sup>Jesus wept. <\/span><span id=\"en-NKJV-26560\" class=\"text John-11-36\"><sup class=\"versenum\">36\u00a0<\/sup>Then the Jews said, \u201cSee how He loved him!\u201d\u00a0<\/span><span id=\"en-NKJV-26561\" class=\"text John-11-37\"><sup class=\"versenum\">37\u00a0<\/sup>And some of them said, \u201cCould not this Man, who opened the eyes of the blind, also have kept this man from dying?\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span class=\"text John-11-38\"><sup class=\"versenum\">38\u00a0<\/sup>Then Jesus, again groaning in Himself, came to the tomb. It was a cave, and a stone lay against it. <\/span><span id=\"en-NKJV-26563\" class=\"text John-11-39\"><sup class=\"versenum\">39\u00a0<\/sup>Jesus said, <span class=\"woj\">\u201cTake away the stone.\u201d\u00a0<\/span><\/span><span class=\"text John-11-39\">Martha, the sister of him who was dead, said to Him, \u201cLord, by this time there is a stench, for he has been <i>dead<\/i> four days.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span id=\"en-NKJV-26564\" class=\"text John-11-40\"><sup class=\"versenum\">40\u00a0<\/sup>Jesus said to her, <span class=\"woj\">\u201cDid I not say to you that if you would believe you would<\/span> <span class=\"woj\">see the glory of God?\u201d<\/span> <\/span><span id=\"en-NKJV-26565\" class=\"text John-11-41\"><sup class=\"versenum\">41\u00a0<\/sup>Then they took away the stone <sup class=\"footnote\" style=\"box-sizing: border-box; font-size: 0.625em; line-height: 22px; position: relative; vertical-align: top; top: 0px;\" data-fn=\"#fen-NKJV-26565d\" data-link=\"[&lt;a href=&quot;#fen-NKJV-26565d&quot; title=&quot;See footnote d&quot;&gt;d&lt;\/a&gt;]\">[<a title=\"See footnote d\" href=\"https:\/\/www.biblegateway.com\/passage\/?search=John+11%3A1-44&amp;version=NKJV#fen-NKJV-26565d\">d<\/a>]<\/sup><i>from the place<\/i> where the dead man was lying. And Jesus lifted up <i>His<\/i> eyes and said, <span class=\"woj\">\u201cFather, I thank You that You have heard Me.<\/span> <\/span><span id=\"en-NKJV-26566\" class=\"text John-11-42\"><sup class=\"versenum\">42\u00a0<\/sup><span class=\"woj\">And I know that You always hear Me, but<\/span> <span class=\"woj\">because of the people who are standing by I said <i>this,<\/i> that they may believe that You sent Me.\u201d<\/span> <\/span><span id=\"en-NKJV-26567\" class=\"text John-11-43\"><sup class=\"versenum\">43\u00a0<\/sup>Now when He had said these things, He cried with a loud voice, <span class=\"woj\">\u201cLazarus, come forth!\u201d<\/span> <\/span><span id=\"en-NKJV-26568\" class=\"text John-11-44\"><sup class=\"versenum\">44\u00a0<\/sup>And he who had died came out bound hand and foot with graveclothes, and his face was wrapped with a cloth. JESUS HAS POWER\u00a0<\/strong><strong>OVER DEATH<\/strong><\/h2>\n<p><strong>John 11:25-26, 11:43-44<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><span id=\"en-NKJV-26549\" class=\"text John-11-25\"><sup class=\"versenum\">25\u00a0<\/sup>Jesus said to her, <span class=\"woj\">\u201cI am<\/span> <span class=\"woj\">the resurrection and the life.<\/span> <span class=\"woj\">He who believes in Me, though he may<\/span> <span class=\"woj\">die, he shall live.<\/span> <\/span><span id=\"en-NKJV-26550\" class=\"text John-11-26\"><sup class=\"versenum\">26\u00a0<\/sup><span class=\"woj\">And whoever lives and believes in Me shall never die. Do you believe this?\u201d\u00a0<\/span><\/span>.<\/p>\n<h2><strong>4.
