{"id":6944,"date":"2021-12-05T09:11:00","date_gmt":"2021-12-05T06:11:00","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/dpc.or.tz\/?post_type=ctc_sermon&#038;p=6944"},"modified":"2022-02-11T09:13:02","modified_gmt":"2022-02-11T06:13:02","slug":"be-a-good-steward-of-gods-grace-in-your-life","status":"publish","type":"ctc_sermon","link":"https:\/\/dpc.or.tz\/?ctc_sermon=be-a-good-steward-of-gods-grace-in-your-life","title":{"rendered":"BE A GOOD STEWARD OF GOD\u2019S GRACE IN YOUR LIFE"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>BE A GOOD STEWARD OF GOD\u2019S GRACE IN YOUR LIFE<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>The word Grace in Greek&nbsp;&nbsp;is&nbsp;<em>charis<\/em>&nbsp;which means&nbsp;<em>graciousness, Favor, gift.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>The Grace saves us Ephesian 2:8<\/li><li>The Grace God gives divine strength.&nbsp;<\/li><li>The Grace gives us gifts and abilities to serve God.&nbsp;<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">1 Peter 1:10 ESV<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><em>10&nbsp;&nbsp;As each has received a gift, use it to serve one another, as good stewards of God&#8217;s varied grace:<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ol class=\"wp-block-list\" type=\"1\"><li><strong>GOD HAS GIVEN YOU A SPECIAL GRACE&nbsp;<\/strong><\/li><\/ol>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">1 Peter 1:10 ESV<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">10&nbsp;&nbsp;<strong><u>As each has received a gift<\/u><\/strong>, use it to serve one another, as good stewards of God&#8217;s varied grace:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">EPHESIANS 2:10 NKJV<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">10 For we are His workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God prepared beforehand that we should walk in them.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Ephesians 4:7-8<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">But to each one of us grace has been given as Christ apportioned it. 8 This is why it[a] says:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u201cWhen he ascended on high,<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;he took many captives<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;and gave gifts to his people.\u201d[b]<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">BE AWARE OF YOUR GRACE<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">EPHESIANS 3:8 NKJV<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">8 Although I am less than the least of all the Lord\u2019s people, this grace was given me: to preach to the Gentiles the boundless riches of Christ,&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ol class=\"wp-block-list\" type=\"1\"><li><strong>USE THE GIFTS YOU HAVE TO SERVE&nbsp;&nbsp;OTHERS<\/strong><\/li><\/ol>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><em>1 PETER 4:9-10 NIV<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><em>Offer hospitality to one another without grumbling. 10 Each of you should use whatever gift you have received to serve others, as faithful stewards of God\u2019s grace in its various forms.<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><em>1 PETER 4:10 AMP<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><em>10 Just as each one of you has received a special gift [a spiritual talent, an ability graciously given by God], employ it in serving one another as [is appropriate for] good stewards of God\u2019s multi-faceted grace [faithfully using the diverse, varied gifts and abilities granted to Christians by God\u2019s unmerited favor].<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>You have a special grace upon your<\/li><li>It is gift of others and not for you<\/li><li>Be a good steward<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">&nbsp;ROMANS 12:3-8 NIV<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">3 For by the grace given me I say to every one of you: Do not think of yourself more highly than you ought, but rather think of yourself with sober judgment, in accordance with the faith God has distributed to each of you. 4 For just as each of us has one body with many members, and these members do not all have the same function, 5 so in Christ we, though many, form one body, and each member belongs to all the others. 6 We have different gifts, according to the grace given to each of us. If your gift is prophesying, then prophesy in accordance with your[a] faith; 7 if it is serving, then serve; if it is teaching, then teach; 8 if it is to encourage, then give encouragement; if it is giving, then give generously; if it is to lead,[b] do it diligently; if it is to show mercy, do it cheerfully.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">BE A FAITHFUL STEWARD<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">MATHEW 25:14-30 NIV<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">14 \u201cAgain, it will be like a man going on a journey, who called his servants and entrusted his wealth to them. 15 To one he gave five bags of gold, to another two bags, and to another one bag,[a] each according to his ability. Then he went on his journey. 16 The man who had received five bags of gold went at once and put his money to work and gained five bags more. 17 So also, the one with two bags of gold gained two more. 18 But the man who had received one bag went off, dug a hole in the ground and hid his master\u2019s money.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">19 \u201cAfter a long time the master of those servants returned and settled accounts with them. 20 The man who had received five bags of gold brought the other five. \u2018Master,\u2019 he said, \u2018you entrusted me with five bags of gold. See, I have gained five more.\u2019<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">21 \u201cHis master replied, \u2018Well done, good and faithful servant! You have been faithful with a few things; I will put you in charge of many things. Come and share your master\u2019s happiness!\u2019<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">22 \u201cThe man with two bags of gold also came. \u2018Master,\u2019 he said, \u2018you entrusted me with two bags of gold; see, I have gained two more.\u2019<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">23 \u201cHis master replied, \u2018Well done, good and faithful servant! See, here is what belongs to you.\u2019<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">26 \u201cHis master replied, \u2018You wicked, lazy servant! So you knew that I harvest where I have not sown and gather where I have not scattered seed? 27 Well then, you should have put my money on deposit with the bankers, so that when I returned I would have received it back with interest.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">28 \u201c\u2018So take the bag of gold from him and give it to the one who has ten bags. 29 For whoever has will be given more, and they will have an abundance.
