{"id":8114,"date":"2023-12-25T11:30:00","date_gmt":"2023-12-25T08:30:00","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/dpc.or.tz\/?post_type=ctc_sermon&#038;p=8114"},"modified":"2023-12-27T14:18:25","modified_gmt":"2023-12-27T11:18:25","slug":"you-are-not-alone","status":"publish","type":"ctc_sermon","link":"https:\/\/dpc.or.tz\/?ctc_sermon=you-are-not-alone","title":{"rendered":"YOU ARE NOT ALONE"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">YOU ARE NOT ALONE \u2013 MATTHEW 1:23<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>The word \u201cGod with us\u201d speaks and assure me that I am not alone.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>The word encourages me, gives me hope and more trust in Jesus.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>It is very possible for many people to be very fearful when they know they are just alone (children and adults).<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>This is not only for people but also Nations and other big institutions (think of the EAC, SADC, UAE, NATO, EU, UN, etc.)<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>This aspect is also found in animals and many other creations \u2013 they like staying and moving in group.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Why all these groups and forms of communities? They have discovered the secrete that when someone is behind them \u2013 they become stronger and courageous, and the magnitude of fear reduces.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Today as we celebrate Christmas,<br>I would like to remind each one of us that &#8211; You\u2019re Not Alone \u2013 instead You\u2019re with God as we read in Matthew 1:23: \u201c\u2026 and they will call him Immanuel \u2013 which means, God with us.\u201d<br>The name Immanuel &#8211; declares the presence of God with His people<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Take home lessons from today\u2019s message: You Are Not Alone because:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ol class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>YOU HAVE EMMANUEL \u2013 God with us<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Celebrating Christmas at the first point should be having God with us<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Emmanuel \u2013 was born and came in the world for us \u2013 ISAIAH 9:6<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>He came to seek and serve us who were among the lost \u2013 LUKE 19:10<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>He is with us to the very end of the age \u2013 MATTHEW 28:20b<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>He will go ahead of you; never leave you nor forsake you \u2013 DEUTERONOMY 31:8<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>2. HE IS YOUR SHEPHARD &#8211; PSALMS 23<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Jesus is my shepherd by His own choice and willingness \u2013 JOHN 15:16<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Being a good shepherd &#8211; is there to provide for us to the point of laying down his life \u2013 JOHN 10:11<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>He has given himself to protect, lead and guide us through every path<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Available to love, care, restore and build us all the days of our life<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>He is our defender, our refuge, faithful and trustworthy<br>Therefore brethren, let us celebrate Christmas with joy and gratitude knowing that God is with us always. Remember, you are not alone.
