{"id":9683,"date":"2025-12-25T10:00:00","date_gmt":"2025-12-25T07:00:00","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/dpc.or.tz\/?post_type=ctc_sermon&#038;p=9683"},"modified":"2026-01-20T10:45:34","modified_gmt":"2026-01-20T07:45:34","slug":"rejoice-the-savior-jesus-has-come","status":"publish","type":"ctc_sermon","link":"https:\/\/dpc.or.tz\/?ctc_sermon=rejoice-the-savior-jesus-has-come","title":{"rendered":"REJOICE THE SAVIOR JESUS HAS COME."},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">REJOICE THE SAVIOR JESUS HAS COME.<br>MATTHEW 1: 18 &#8211; 21<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">&#8211;\u00a0 Christmas is the time of rejoicing and cerebrating \u2013 in Christ Jesus<br>&#8211;\u00a0 Rejoicing for the Savior Jesus has come \u2013 the Savior of humanity<br>&#8211;\u00a0 Celebrating the birth of Jesus Christ \u2013 the Son of God \/ Emmanuel\u00a0<br>&#8211;\u00a0 Christmas is our time to celebrate our faith, hope, &amp; love in Christ Jesus<br>&#8211;\u00a0 Christmas is a time to reflect on the generosity and kindness of God\u00a0<br>&#8211;\u00a0 A time to commemorate God\u2019s love and gift to the world through Jesus<br>&#8211;\u00a0 A time of thanksgiving &#8211; that Jesus was ready to leave His kingship, for our redemption\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Why Should We Rejoice:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>1. JESUS CAME TO SAVE HIS PEOPLE FROM THEIR SINS\u00a0 &#8211; MATTHEW 1:21<\/strong><br>&#8211; The people Jesus was born for \/ came to save is me and you<br>&#8211; Jesus came to set us free from sin and every devilish bondages\u00a0<br>&#8211; This is why we celebrate Christmas with joy and gratitude\u00a0<br>&#8211; We rejoice for the Savior has come and what is doing is great &#8211; ISAIAH 9:1-6<br>&#8211; There will be no more sorrow since our Savior is the Prince of Peace &#8211; Vs. 1, 6<br>&#8211; We no longer walk in darkness instead we have seen the light &#8211; Vs.2<br>&#8211; Our joy has been increased and no one could give such joy to us &#8211; Vs. 3<br>&#8211; We have been reconcilled back to God by our Savior himself &#8211; 2 CORINTHIANS 5: 18\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>2. THE SAVIOR JESUS IS OUR SHEPHERD \u00a0 &#8211; MATTHEW 2:1-6<\/strong><br>&#8211; Normal context &#8211; a shephered is a person employed to tend sheep<br>&#8211; Church context &#8211; is a person called to guide or watch over the people<br>&#8211; Jesus came as a King, Yet he took up the role of a Shepherd of his people<br>&#8211; Our Savior Jesus is a good shephered set to watch over us\u00a0 &#8211; JOHN 10:10<br>&#8211; As a good Shepherd is set to care and give us life to the fulllest\u00a0<br>&#8211; Jesus is a shephered reday to lay his life for the sheep &#8211; Vs. 14-16<br>&#8211; His love and passion included even the sheep out of his sheep pen\u00a0<br>&#8211; Think through his readness to leave his Kingship position in heaven for us<br>&#8211;\u00a0 He was even ready to be born in a manger of animals &#8211; LUKE 2:1-6\u00a0<br>&#8211;\u00a0 Born in a manger of animals &#8211; Yet a King and the heavenly host confirmed &#8211; Vs. 8-14<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">As I conclude, let us celebrate and rejoice during this season knowing that the Savior Jesus is the reason for our joy and celebration.
