DPC PRAYER AND FASTING: Day Three \u2013 6th July, 2022<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Main Prayer: THE PRAYER OF JABEZ<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201c\u2026 Oh, that You would bless me indeed, and enlarge my territory, that Your hand be with me, and that You would keep me from evil, \u2026\u201d. (1Chronicles 4: 9-10).<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Wilkinson, B. (2000) writes: \u201csuch prayer is not self-centered act it might appear, but a supremely spiritual one and exactly the kind of request our Father – God longs to hear\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
As we pray the prayer of Jabez, let us think through – Psalm 24: 1-2 \u201cThe earth is the LORD\u2019s, and everything in it, the world, and all who live in it; \u2026\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Prayers:<\/p>\n\n\n\n
1. To bless – in the biblical sense means to impact supernatural favor.\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n \u2022 Pray for God\u2019s blessings over your life in all areas – Deuteronomy 28:1-14 <\/p>\n\n\n\n \u2022 Pray for His unlimited goodness that only God has the power to give to us.<\/p>\n\n\n\n 2. Enlarged territory – a place of one\u2019s own with plenty of rooms to grow.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n \u2022 Ask God to enlarge your life so you can make a great impact and accomplish more<\/p>\n\n\n\n \u2022 Pray and ask God for more miracles \u2013 things to happen that wouldn\u2019t normally happen- Ephesians 3:20-21<\/p>\n\n\n\n 3. The hand of God would be with us \u2013 to be surrounded by God\u2019s power.\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n \u2022 Pray for the powerful hand of God to protect and guide us \u2013 Joshua 4:19-24<\/p>\n\n\n\n \u2022 Pray for God\u2019s enablement in serving His Kingdom \u2013 Acts 11:21<\/p>\n\n\n\n 4.
