\u2022 GROWTH PROCESS<\/strong> – METAMORPHOSIS<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u2022 Constant change, <\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u2022 Increase,<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u2022 Reaching out for more\/better,<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u2022 Improvement etc<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u2022 It is an automatic process for other organisms. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u2022 Break out of shell to become what? <\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u2022 Become full-grown and effective creatures.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

WHAT ABOUT MAN (HUMAN BEING)?<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u2022 Is this process automated?<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u2022 It is multidimensional<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u2022 No regard for age, gender, background etc<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u2022 They only matter if used as a leverage<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u2022 It takes a willing, daring , determined and courageous heart<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u2022 There are master mind criminals who are giving the best of detectives, sleepless nights also great minds doing exploits. Some of these personalities are atheists, have very rough and poor background, very minimum education and they probably were once nobodies in their communities.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u2022 OUR FOCUS\u2026A BORN AGAIN SPIRIT FILLED MAN WHO WANTS TO BREAK OUT SPIRITUALLY. <\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u2022 EPHESIANS 4:22-24<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u2022 You were taught, with regard to your former way of life, to put off your old self, which is being corrupted by its deceitful desires; to be made new in the attitude of your minds; and to put on the new self, created to be like god in true righteousness and holiness<\/em>. (NIV)<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u2022T<\/em>hen throw off your old evil nature\u2014the old you that was a partner in your evil ways\u2014rotten through and through, full of lust and sham. Now your attitudes and thoughts must all be constantly changing for the better. <\/em>Y<\/em>es, you must be a new and different person, holy and good. Clothe yourself with this new nature<\/em>. (TLB)<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u2022MSG <\/em>(<\/em>vs<\/em> 20-24) – But that\u2019s no life for you. You learned <\/em>C<\/em>hrist! my assumption is that you have paid careful attention to him, been well instructed in the truth precisely as we have it in <\/em>J<\/em>esus. Since, then, we do not have the excuse of ignorance, everything\u2014and I do mean everything\u2014connected with that old way of life has to go. It\u2019s rotten through and through. Get rid of it! and then take on an entirely new way of life\u2014a god-fashioned life, a life renewed from the inside and working itself into your conduct as god accurately reproduces his character in you.<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n

MAN IS PRIMARILY A SPIRIT BEING.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u2022 It is the spirit that created the physical. So if you want to change any situation at all, change it first in the spirit. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u2022Philippians 2:12b \u201cWork out your own salvation with fear and trembling\u201d <\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u2022Ephesians 4:13 \u2018Till we come to the unity of the faith and of the knowledge of the Son of God, to a perfect man, to the measure of the stature of the fullness of Christ\u2019<\/p>\n\n\n\n

<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u2022HOW TO BREAK OUT OF THE SHELL SPIRITUALLY<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u2022The shell is broken by a force from within and you hardly hear a sound when it breaks.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u2022You only see a complete living thing coming out. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u2018 If an egg is broken by an outside force life ends. If broken by inside force life begins\u2019.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u2022So what?  BUILD PRESSURE WITHIN.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

1.SEE THE END FROM THE BEGINNING.<\/strong>
 Isa 46:10 \u2018I make known the end from the beginning, from ancient times , what is still to come- NIV.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u2022 Ephesians 5:1 \u2018Be imitators of God\u2019 <\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u2022 Get the vision and have it backed up by the Word (Scripture). <\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u2022 Make Ephesians 4:13 your vision to start with<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u2022 It will change your decision making, choice of friends, your level of commitment, the books you read. etc<\/p>\n\n\n\n

2. BY BEHOLDING <\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u2022Fix your gaze <\/em>on the vision (on the Word) Isaiah 50:7 \u2018Because the Sovereign Lord helps me, I will not be disgraced. Therefore have I set my face like flint, and I know I will not be put the shame.\u2019- NIV<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u2022Be fully persuaded. <\/em>Romans 8:38 \u2018 For I am persuaded that neither death nor life nor angel nor principalities nor powers, nor things present nor things to come, nor height nor depth, nor any other created thing, shall be able to separate us from the love of God which is in Christ Jesus our Lord\u2019 – NKJV <\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u2022The devil will bring so many things to distract you but stand your ground: 2 Corinthians 4:18 \u2018So we don\u2019t look at the troubles we can see now; rather, we fix our gaze on the things that cannot be seen. For the things we see now will soon be gone but the things we cannot see will last forever\u2019 – NLT
<\/p>\n\n\n\n

3. Develop a disciplined life <\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u2018Discipline will get you farther than motivation ever will\u2019.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u2018The secret of your success or failure is hidden in you daily routine\u2019<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u2022 Prayer life – Luke 18:1 <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Schedule you prayer times. Don\u2019t just pray randomly. Be very intentional about being loyal to this schedule.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u2022 Word life – Col 3:16, Psalms 119:105<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Have a specific goal when it comes to studying the Word. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u2022 With your tongue -Proverbs 18:21.  There is power in your words.  Hebrews 11:3. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Numbers 14:28 \u2013 \u2018 So tell them, \u2018As surely as I live, declares the Lord, I will do to you the very thing I heard you say\u2019 – NIV. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Your life will  go where your mouth goes.  Psalms 141:3 Ecclesiastes 5:6 \u201cDon\u2019t let your mouth make a total sinner of you. When called to account, you won\u2019t get by with \u2018Sorry, I didn\u2019t mean it\u2019. Why risk provoking  God to angry retaliation? MSG <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Be mindful of your words<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u2022 Some will laugh at you or mock you but keep doing what you\u2019re doing <\/p>\n\n\n\n

.Sanbalat and Tobia\u2019s story; Nehemiah 4:3, David\u2019s story 2 Sam 5:6b<\/p>\n\n\n\n

. Job\u2019s story, Joseph\u2019s story, Jesus himself etc
<\/p>\n\n\n\n

4. E<\/strong>xercise patience<\/strong> Hebrews 6:12, \u2018 We do not want you  to become lazy, but to imitate those who through faith and patience inherit what has been promised\u2019 – NIV<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Every process has it\u2019s own stages. Don\u2019t skip stages Ecclesiastes 3:11 <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Galatians 4:2 \u2018\u2026\u2026until the time appointed by the father\u2019 <\/p>\n\n\n\n

John 15:1-2  \u2018 I am the true vine, and my Father is a gardener.\u2019 – NIV<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The farmer decides
<\/p>\n\n\n\n

5. CONQUER SELF – PITY<\/strong>
2 Sam 23:10, \u2018But Eleazarstood his ground and struck down the Philistines till his hand grew tired and froze to the sword. The Lord brought about a great victory that day. The troops returned to Eleazar, but only to strip the dead. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

2 Timothy 2:3. \u2018You therefore must endure hardship as a good soldier of Jesus Christ. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u2022 Don\u2019t stop because you are tired, stop because the work is done. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u2022 Don\u2019t allow your emotions factor in your decision making. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u2022 It is easier in a group that alone
<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u2022 HAVE A TEACHABLE SPIRIT.<\/strong>
Philippians 4:9 \u2018 The things which you learned and received and heard and saw in me, these do, and the God of peace will be with you.\u2019 NKJV<\/p>\n\n\n\n
