LEADERSHIP&nbsp;<\/strong><strong>&#8211;&nbsp;<\/strong>Joshua 24:14-18<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">-Joshua stood up as a leader for his family regardless of the situation<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">-It is the role of a man to provide direction&nbsp;<br>and guidance for his family<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>A man ought to lead his family Spiritually:&nbsp;<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Make sure they serve the Lord&nbsp;<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Attend church services and activities<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Read the Bible and Pray&nbsp;<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Give to the Lord<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Grow spiritually&nbsp;<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>2). PROTECTION and CARE&nbsp;&nbsp;&#8211;&nbsp;&nbsp;<\/strong>John 19:25-27<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">-John the disciple of Jesus took the role of taking care of Mary the Mother of Jesus&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">-Men in the church should protect and care for the interest of the:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Church and its ministries&nbsp;<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Leadership and the leaders&nbsp;<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Needy believers\/people (hospital visitation)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>3). PROVISION and SUPPORT \u2013 1&nbsp;Timothy&nbsp;5:8<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">-Anyone&nbsp;(MEN)&nbsp;are instructed to make sure they provide for their families and immediate people&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">-Men should be ready to provide support to their church and leaders<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Spiritually<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Socially<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Emotionally<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Economically, etc.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u2022<strong>THREE<\/strong><strong>&nbsp;ROLES OF MEN IN THE CHURCH \u2026<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">&#8211; Men should make sure the 3 above category are safe and cared for<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">&#8211; Men in the church should take charge of what Jesus would have done if He was around physically&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u2022 <strong>CONCLUSION<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">&#8211; Men at DPC \u2013 during this week of service for 2022, let us remember that it is our fellow man \u2013&nbsp;Joseph from Arimathea&nbsp;who provided for the burial of Jesus Christ \u2013&nbsp;<strong>Matthew 27: 57-60.&nbsp;<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">-I pray that what we have discussed will remind us all to take up our roles in the church with lots of commitment.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">PASTOR PHILIP PATROBA BAHEBE<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><em>Discussion questions:<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><em>1.
