TELL SOMEONE ABOUT JESUS – During Christmas Season.
During Christmas Season:
- There so many things that take place and many stories that happen
- Some people behave and act differently
- Some people tend to dress and eat differently
- Some people do visit their family members and friends
- Some people do share and send gifts to their close people
- But few people remember to tell and talk to someone about Jesus Christ who is the center and source of Christmas season
The presentation from our Sunday school ministry has made it clear to us that Christmas is all about JESUS CHRIST.
Surely, Christmas is about the birth of Jesus Christ, His Love, His Salvation, His Mercy and Compassion to a human beings, His Justice and Righteousness, His Kingship and power, and other related purposes for His coming here on earth – “For to us a child is born, to us a child is given, …” – ISAIAH 9: 6-7
As we enter Christmas Season for 2021, let’s respond to these two questions:
- What should believers do during Christmas season?
- Believers are expected to tell someone about Jesus Christ
- Jesus is expecting us to share the mission and purpose of His coming
- His mission was to seek and save the lost – bring Salvation – LUKE 19:10
- This is what Andrew did to his brother Simon – JOHN 1:40-42
- We also learn this from Philip with Nathaniel – JOHN 1: 43-45
- Why should we tell/share about Jesus during Christmas season?
- To remain focused to the mission and purpose of Christmas season
- To remind/inform the people about the purpose of Christmas-Salvation
- For the people to acknowledge and declare that Jesus is king-JOHN 1: 49
- For the people to experience greater things from Jesus-JOHN 1: 51
Let me conclude by encouraging every one of us to tell someone about Jesus Christ as we celebrate Christmas this year. Let your love, care, gifts, visitation, hospitality, dressing, eating, swimming, outing, and the like all give glory to God and make someone experience the love and salvation of Jesus Christ.
