Awali joined DPC from college in 2009 and has been active in the youth Ministry and held different positions as a Youth events coordinator and Youth Leader from 2010 to 2013 and also as a part-time youth director and media supervisor from 2014-2016 where He started working full time as youth director and media Supervisor up to early march 2023. Awali Before joining DPC, He worked in two companies as a sales, marketing, and operations personnel.

Awali Holds a Diploma in Business administration from Azania College of Management but is finishing His Bachelor’s in Transformational Christian Leadership at Pan African Christian University (Nairobi-Kenya). Awali was born again in Primary school in 2008, and His calling to ministry was also evident in his life since High school, where he held a leadership position in Ukwata at Mkwawa High School from 2003-2005.

He has also worked as a Youth Director and Media Supervisor since 2014. Pastor Awali is passionate about encouraging young people to grow in Christ and live a youthful Christian victorious life. Awali is married to Anna, and they have two children, Ronel and Brielle.
Since March 2023, he has started working as an intern Youth Pastor.
