21 DAY OF PRAYER AND FASTING 13 JANUARY 2025
THE EMPOWERING PRESENCE OF GOD: A CALL TO EVANGELISM, CHURCH PLANTING, AND GLOBAL MISSION. (Matthew 28:18-20)
1. Pray for the Power of the Holy Spirit:
- Pray for the infilling of God’s power for His work among us. (Acts 1:4-5, 8)
- Pray for each individual to be empowered by God to carry out His work. (Acts 1:8)
- Pray for the empowerment of all believers with the gifts of the Holy Spirit for ministry. (1 Corinthians 12:4-6)
- Ask God to reveal the unique gifts and ministries He has bestowed upon each of us through the Holy Spirit. (Romans 12:3-8)
2. Pray for the Evangelism and Mission Department of PAG Tanzania:
- Pray for the leaders of the Evangelism and Mission Department at all levels (national, regional, local) – that God will guide, use, and equip them with effective strategies for advancing evangelism, missions, and churchplanting. (Romans 10:9-17)
- Pray for the Lord to send forth laborers into His harvest. (Luke 10:2)
- Pray that all leaders and churches within PAG Tanzania will prioritize evangelism and missions as central to their ministries. (1 Corinthians 9:16)
- Pray that church members will develop a compassionate heart for reaching others with the Gospel of Christ.
3. Pray for Church Planting in Unreached Areas:
- Pray for the establishment of new churches in all regions, districts, divisions, wards, villages, and neighborhoods where PAG Tanzania currently has no presence. (Romans 15:20)
- Specifically pray for church planting efforts in the Coastal Zone of Tanzania (particularly in Muslim-majority areas), Zanzibar, and other unreached communities.
- Pray for the provision of necessary resources for church planting, including land, buildings, personnel, and financial support.
4. Pray for Global Missions:
- Pray that God will raise up qualified and passionate individuals to plant churches in various African nations (including Rwanda, DR Congo, Comoros, Madagascar, Sudan, Mozambique, and beyond) and other parts of the world.
- Pray that PAG Tanzania’s colleges and training institutions will equip students with the knowledge, skills, and cross-cultural understanding necessary for effective global missions.
- Pray for all teachers and trainers within PAG Tanzania’s Bible School to effectively prepare and disciple future church leaders and missionaries.
- Pray for the development of strong, mission-minded churches throughout Tanzania.
- Pray that all members of PAG Tanzania will develop a burden for global missions and generously support mission work with their time, talents, and resources.
