1️⃣ Thanksgiving for Tanzania’s blessings
📖 Psalm 104:14–15; Jeremiah 5:24
• Thank God for our good land rich in natural resources.
• Thank God for the peace and freedom to worship we enjoy in Tanzania.
2️⃣ Pray for unity, love, peace, and justice
📖 Micah 6:8; Psalm 133:1–3
• Pray against the spirit of division.
• Pray that differences in political views and religious beliefs will not divide us as Tanzanians.
• Pray for a spirit of love among Tanzanians and all foreigners living in the country.
3️⃣ Pray for our leaders to lead with wisdom and integrity
📖 1 Timothy 2:1–4; Daniel 9:3–5
• Pray for all government and political leaders: the President, Parliament, Ministers, Judiciary, and Regional Commissioners.
• Pray for religious leaders to be agents of love and unity.
• Pray for the fear of God to guide our leaders.
4️⃣ Pray for Africa and other nations
📖 Nehemiah 1:4–5; Proverbs 6:16–17
• Pray for peace and stability in Uganda after the election.
• Pray for nations experiencing conflict: Congo, Sudan, Israel & Palestine, Russia & Ukraine, and others.
• Pray against the spirit of war and bloodshed.
