Introduction

Paul warns believers against spiritual self-deception. The Christian life operates on divine principles established by God Himself. Ignoring these principles does not cancel their consequences.

“Do not be deceived: God is not mocked…” — Galatians 6:7

1. GOD CANNOT BE MOCKED

Galatians 6:6–7

• To “mock” God means to think we can live contrary to His truth without consequences.
• God sees beyond outward appearance; nothing is hidden from Him.

• Proverbs 15:3 – “The eyes of the Lord are everywhere, keeping watch on the wicked and the good.”
• Hebrews 4:13 – “Nothing in all creation is hidden from God.”

Key Truth:
We may deceive people, but we can never deceive God. Our lives speak louder than our words.

2. YOU WILL REAP WHAT YOU SOW

Galatians 6:7–8

• Life operates on the law of sowing and reaping—spiritually, morally, and practically.
• Sowing to the flesh leads to corruption; sowing to the Spirit leads to eternal life.

• Hosea 8:7 – “They sow the wind and reap the whirlwind.”
• Proverbs 22:8 – “Whoever sows injustice will reap calamity.”
• Romans 8:5–6 – Living according to the flesh leads to death; living by the Spirit leads to life and peace.

Our choices today are seeds that determine tomorrow’s harvest.

3. KEEP ON DOING GOOD

Galatians 6:9–10

• Weariness can come when results are delayed, but God’s promise remains sure.
• The harvest comes at the proper time—God’s time.

• Hebrews 6:10–11 – God remembers our work and love shown in serving His people.

Key Truth:
Do not quit before the harvest. Faithfulness is rewarded, even when unseen.

Conclusion

• Do not be deceived.
• God cannot be mocked.
• You will reap what you sow.
• Therefore, keep doing good, especially to those in the household of faith.
